I enjoyed a tasty meal here on a surprisingly busy afternoon. The Thai toast appetizer was crunchy and unique - a deep fried toast with chicken, shrimp, onions, peanut sauce, and a side dish of veggies. The Panang curry, which I got with pork, was flavorful and voluminous enough to last me for a couple meals even as a voracious eater. The heart-shape rice is a cute touch as well. My friends got the noodle dishes which they found tasty, as did my friend who got the Tiger Cry dish, which reminded me of a Thai twist on fajitas as it came out on a sizzling platter. However, they weren't sure if the cut of meat matched what was listed on the menu. Service was prompt even though there were a seemingly endless number of to-go orders which is always a good sign. Tucked inside an unassuming strip mall close to the hospital, the indoor ambience was pleasant and the carpeted floors muffle the chatter of nearby tables. Parking was easy as well. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a Thai food place with an ample menu in this part of town.

I ordered delivery as I broke my leg. I got the fresh garden rolls, chicken wings and mango and sticky rice. This lasted me 2 days. The mango and sticky rice was fabulous! The mango was perfectly ripe and there was a side of warm coconut milk to pour over everything. The sauces for everything were delicious too!

Little spot by the hospital. Fairly busy. Husband is a bit on the picky side but he said the food was very good. We had drunken noodle, moo ping and peanut chicken with iced butterfly tea. I really liked the tea. Both food and service were great! We come to Houston often and we will be back.

my nephew bought me uber eats delivery for my birthday and Morningside Thai did not disappoint! Got the pat pet w/ shrimp, a side of steamed rice, mango and sticky rice for dessert, and a thai tea! i am blessed! Spice level 1 was a lil spicier than other 1's I have tried at other Thai eateries. The flavors were why Thai is my fave! The eggplant in my dish was perfectly cooked, not too smushy. The green beans were crisp and the bamboo shoots bambooey. lol. The entree was enough for some dinner as well and i still have to eat the mango and sticky rice but that will be breakfast.

I am so happy that some friends recommended this place to us!! I've had it multiple times now including to-go and each time it is SO delicious! For appetizers, I've had the baby egg rolls. These were small but delicious egg rolls that were very crispy and paired well with the sweet sauce they give. The thai toast was yummy and goes perfectly with the peanut sauce and cucumbers. This was a unique taste and a dish that I'd get again! My favorite is the classic pad see ew but with duck! I love how they have so many different options for meat so that you can experience all different combinations and try different meats. The duck goes sooo well with the sweetness of the pad see ew and is now my new favorite way to have this dish!! The flavors and texture of the noodles are so on point and made to perfection!! I've also had the pad kee mao with crispy pork, and it was also so good. There is just so much flavor in these dishes and the meat just adds another layer of deliciousness. I don't like very spicy food and the pad kee mao was a perfect mild spice! I've also gotten the tom kha gai with chicken, which is exactly a perfect add on to your meal. It is a pretty neutral soup with a coconut base that is perfectly delicious! The crab fried rice was a decent fried rice but it lacked some flavor so I'd probably try a different fried rice later instead. There are some unique flavors that have caught my eye on the menu! So I'll be back to try haha Lastly, I ALWAYS get a thai green tea with my meals. It is not often that a restaurant has thai green tea do I take advantage when I see it! I like it more than thai tea because it tastes more floral. It is pretty sweet but be sure to give it a try! Overall, I love the variety of meats you can add onto each dish and the variety of spice levels that can accomodate everyone's taste. They have great service, food, drinks, and easy parking!! 10/10 recommend :-)

A friend recommended this place, so we came for dinner! It was soooo good. They have a huge selection of food and drinks to choose from. Literally. I saw boba signs on their door that I initially walked past it bc I thought it was a boba shop LOL! Pretty small inside but we had no issues with seating as a group of 7. Got the classic pad se-iew with chicken. It was sweet and savory, just how I like it. I got to share the pad kee mao with my friend, spice level hot with pork as our meat, and it was AMAZING. It tastes like pad se-iew with all the great flavors, but you get the extra kick from the spices. I'll definitely get this dish again and again. Pork was softer compared to the chicken. Hot was pretty spicy but bearable enough to eat without sweating or panting haha. Food looked, smelled, and tasted awesome. Forgot to take pics before digging in!! I also got to try a sip of my friend's Thai tea and it was legit!! Our server checked in on us every now and then. At the end he rang us up individually with the portable credit card reader. Gratuity was already included in the check and then they asked for more tip on the screen. The total for my dish was around around $19. Parking is plenty!

We had a meeting and order some catering food. Turned out to be quite good. Portion wise is great. I had the duck curry and it was yummy. On the part of desserts I didn't like it too much. They add some fragant in the coconut and the taste was a bit weird for me personally.
